Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Jess Walton, who plays Jill on the hit CBS soap, says things go from bad to worse in just a matter of seconds for her character. She puts it this way, “Jill doesn’t appreciate being summoned, so I’m assuming that his place is on the way from the airport and convenient for her. When she arrives, he warmly greets her but she tells him to spit out why he wanted to see her because she has an arbitration to get to.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor tells Jill that he is quite surprised that she’s going to war with Devon when she can settle the matter more peacefully. Jill quickly loses her patience with him. Jess says, “She feels that Victor has no right to interfere in this. He tries to say that he knows how Katherine would operate her company and the reason he sold Chancellor to Jill was because he thought it would be in good hands. But Jill straightens him out by saying, ‘There’s a lot of things that I miss about darling Katherine, but I don’t miss her interfering in how to run the company. Sorry, Victor, but Chancellor is mine to run how I see fit.’”

The Young and the Restless spoilers then say that Victor asks if he can still offer an alternative. Jill is intrigued. Jess notes, “He’s a great businessman, so she’s very interested in what he has to say, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any machinations going on with him as well.”
