The Young and the Restless spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if Kyle and Summer might be going a little too far lately. And no, we are not talking about their relationship, but how invested they seem to be in the relationships of their respective parents. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, Kyle seems to just have one thing on his mind these days, and that’s the fact that his parents Jack and Diane are engaged again. And for Summer, she just can’t understand why her father Nick Newman is with Sally Spectra even though she is currently expecting a baby with her uncle, Adam Newman.

Needless to say, many The Young and the Restless fans sure do have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some comments have included, “I liked this scene…especially Kyle’s reactions.  I do agree with some other comments that these two are WAY too focused on their parent’s lives. Give them their own life…or at least their own home lol!” along with, “The character of Summer complains all the time. Her character has become boring. Kyle’s character has become boring too. The storylines are awful in my opinion. They need to have something else to focus on other than just their parents.”

Another critic wrote, “Don’t like these two but really irked by Kyle’s dismissive attitude about Summer’s parents when the last 6 months have been all about Diane. Nobody on this show can keep their nose out of other people’s lives.  Concentrate on your own lives instead of trying to control everyone else’s lives.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Meanwhile, Kyle your parents are engaged, you have a son to raise and a company to run. In other words, better things to do than worry about Sally’s situation.”
