Royal Family News suggests that even though she is going to turn three in June, there’s a very strong possibility that little Lilibet Diana is yet to meet her royal uncle and aunt, Prince William and Kate Middleton. That, and she’s probably never even met her royal cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis before. There’s also a chance that the Cambride kids might never get to meet their Sussex cousin or see her older brother Archie again, especially with the way things are going right now. Here’s what you need to know.
It’s safe to say that the feud between William and Kate and Harry and Meghan is so bad that the two couples can’t stand being in the same room with one another. Or at least, the Prince and Princess of Wales refuse to be in the same room as the Sussexes. During the Platinum Jubilee last year, Harry and Meghan held a birthday party for Lilibet at Frogmore Cottage. Even though William and Kate were invited to the soiree, they didn’t show up. Similarly, William and Kate were also invited to Lilibet’s christening in California, but they failed to attend that event as well.
While there’s no doubt that the Prince and Princess of Wales have every reason to be upset at Harry and Meghan for the way they’ve managed to throw the royal family under the bus several times now, a lot of royal critics think it’s unfair that they are separating their kids from their royal cousins. After all, George, Charlotte, and Louis have a right to meet Archie and Lilibet. They also only have one chance to make childhood memories together. But if William and Kate refuse to even meet their royal niece, there’s a possibility that the Cambridge kids might never see her either, until of course, they become adults and reach out themselves.
Now, how long all of the royal feuding will last is anyone’s guess at this point but it seems like Prince William and Kate Middleton are willing to put up a wall on their end as this bitter battle might never see an end. Do you agree?
