General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is worried that she will never have inner peace. She cannot let go of the anger she feels toward Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). To be fair, Carly did try to hide the truth from Nina that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter, and then she did it again after discovering Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was Nelle’s twin sister.
But Nina is trying to temper her own feelings in favor of her own relationships. She is in love with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and he has asked for the family in-fighting to stop. So, Nina can’t very well be the one to pick a fight. Furthermore, Nina knows that Willow holds Carly near and dear. If she wants any shot at having a relationship with Willow, she can’t attack Carly anymore — at least, not in any way that the finger of blame could be pointed back at her.
Every time Carly has a problem, a hurt feeling, a hangnail…Sonny is there to take the edge off and remind her that she is the best — and Nina is sick and tired of it. When Carly comes back around again soon with a problem she can’t get her own beau, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), to fix, Nina isn’t going to feel like sharing her man once again. The more this wears on her, the more apt Nina is going to feel to take drastic action that would remove Carly from her orbit entirely. There’s just one catch — no one can know she was behind it.
When Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) lets just enough slip that Nina is able to put the whole puzzle together, she’s going to move forward with her plan to take Carly out of the family for good. However, she knows leveling the family at a time like this when Willow is in such dire straits isn’t good for anyone. So she might be hesitant to pull the trigger until she feels like Willow, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and more importantly, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) have stabilized a bit. That doesn’t mean her secret plan to sabotage Carly is safe in the meantime.
Sharing her plans with her aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), might end up biting Nina in the behind. She thought she could trust Liesl with just about anything, but she didn’t take into account how deeply Liesl is grieving right now. That being said, she couldn’t possibly know what was bound to come next — that the truth would come out revealing Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is the person whose life was saved the night Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) lost her own. Liesl will hold Carly responsible and make sure the whole family pays dearly for Britt’s death and Joss’ sustained life by putting Carly away for years to come. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out how Nina feels about this turn of events.
