Days of Our Lives spoilers say that there are a lot of fans out there who think that a familiar face should be brought back on the canvas. Even though it’s been years since she was last seen in Salem – or on daytime television for that matter – it seems like fans are rallying for Gina Tognoni to return so she can reprise her role as Eve. That would certainly make for interesting drama with all of the current storylines right now, right? Here’s what you need to know.

The last time that Gina was seen on the canvas she was playing Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless until she was replaced with Michelle Stafford. Since then, she hasn’t really gone back to work at all. Yet Gina’s name keeps on popping up among Days of Our Lives fans as a lot of them believe it’s time for her to come back again.

Of course, many Days of Our Lives fans and critics alike took to their social media accounts to weigh in on the possibility of seeing Gina on the small screen again. Some comments included, “I read that Steve Burton is officially on contract. I’d love for the show to recast EVE either with the original actress or Gina Tognoni in the role and pair the two off,” along with, “I think Gina Tognoni would make a great Eve! She would be far more believable than KDP as the daughter of Shane and Emma Donovan. The best Eve, of course, would be the original, Charlotte Ross.”

Yet, another viewer also said, “I don’t see Gina Tognoni returning to the west coast, and, if she did and joined Days of Our Lives, she should be Billie. But she’s needed more in Port Charles as Skye Chandler Quartermaine! And I don’t see Ron Carlivati allowing them to recast his pet fave, Kassie DePaiva.”
