General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Waffles on His Revenge Plan and Delays Dealing with It in Light of Willow’s Transplant

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is losing confidence — in himself. The longer this plan to take his father down gets dragged out, the more he feels like he may not be up to the task. Earlier in the game, Michael was still furious with his father for a number of things he had done.

It was so much easier to be blinded by his hatred of him than to think logically about what he really wanted in the grand scheme of things. Now, Michael has had some time to calm down — as well as some life experiences that put things into perspective for him. He’s not so sure he wants his father to pay for anything anymore, but where does that leave Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Was Angry

Michael was livid when his father stood up in court for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) against his own son. He had never felt more betrayed by him than he did at that moment. From that point onward, Michael knew he wanted to make Sonny pay for his poor treatment of his family, but sticking it to him in his personal life just wasn’t enough to satisfy Michael’s appetite for revenge. He needed to really hit Sonny where it hurt. After all, Sonny came after Michael’s baby. It’s only fair in Michael’s mind that he goes after Sonny’s baby — his criminal enterprise.

GH Spoilers Hint Family Matters Most

Over the last six months or so, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has been diagnosed with stage four leukemia. This came as a big blow to the whole family, but Michael’s worldview has been molded into something entirely different than it was beforehand because of it. He now holds his loved ones so much closer, and he is far more concerned about losing any of them.

Even when his mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), intentionally hid the truth about Willow being Nina’s daughter from everyone, Michael struggled to stay mad at her for longer than a few days! As he continues to try to hold onto his anger toward his father, he feels it slipping away even more in favor of embracing him again.

Before Michael can call the whole thing off and tell Dex to stand down, someone else is going to loop Sonny into what is going on behind his back. Michael will be so close to dismantling his operation, but Sonny will discover what he’s up to just in time to retaliate on his own against his own son — reigniting the feud between them and potentially destroying people in their family in the process.
