Nate’s sticky situation involves his past treachery and current temptress boss Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). She wants him to ruin the business lives of his family Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Of course he’s conflicted, and he knows that Devon partnering with his dad Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can be the solution to everyone’s problems—except that Victoria wants him to sabotage the deal.

Nate balks so minxy Victoria meets with Devon and tries to talk him out of making buying Tucker’s business.

Meanwhile, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) rages at her dad Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) being together with pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) whose baby daddy is his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). When you put it like that, it does sound rather skanky doesn’t it?

Nick tells Summer she’s not the boss of him, so she and grandma Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) conspire to bust up Nick and Sally.

Elsewhere, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) gives Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a reality check when she figures out that he likes Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as more than a friend.

Sharon and her psych degree warn Billy that fragile Chelsea could be devastated if they canoodle and it doesn’t work out. Does Billy Boy listen to reason? We all know the answer to that.

Nonetheless, Sharon lectures Billy that Chelsea’s recovery comes first and this may be meddling that sets Chelsea off even more!
