Sarah Ferguson Thinks That Queen Elizabeth’s Ghost Is Haunting Her Corgis

Pinch us if you’ve heard something more bizarre. Apparently, Sarah Ferguson believes that the late Queen Elizabeth’s ghost is haunting her corgis. As many royal fans know already, the queen left her beloved corgis to her son, Prince Andrew, and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. And apparently, the Duchess of York still thinks that her spirit is still in the air, to say the least. Here’s what you need to know.

In a new interview with People magazine, Sarah says that the corgis are apparently interacting with the spirit of Queen Elizabeth, who passed away back in September. She put it this way, “They are national icons, so every time they run chasing a squirrel, I panic. ut they’re total joys, and I always think that when they bark at nothing, and there’s no squirrels in sight, I believe it’s because the Queen is passing by,” while also adding, “They’re with me a lot, and they think I’m very funny.”

If that weren’t enough, Sarah also said that The Queen, who she calls her “total idol,” was someone who always made her feel comfortable, despite some of the sketchy things that Sarah did in the past and the embarrassment that she also caused the royal family. She recalled, “She put you at ease straightaway . . . because it’s terrifying, you know? I used to sit there for hours thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, this is somebody’s lifetime to have an audience with the Queen, and I’m sitting having a cup of tea.”

Sarah also added, “She was so brilliant at putting you at ease. She had the most incredible faith of any single person I’ve ever met. She just knew what to do. She knew how to make people feel good. She never took it onboard as about her. It’s about the monarchy, about making someone feel good. She was my total idol.”

Interestingly enough, Prince Andrew has not said anything about the matter.
