Well, while a lot of General Hospital fans were hoping to see Steve Burton return to Port Charles to reprise his role as Jason Burton, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. Instead, Steve is back at Days of Our Lives to play Harris Michaels once again. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans already know, Steve did bring back Harris Michaels during his limited run on the Days of Our Lives spin-off show, Beyond Salem. It seemed like the producers of the show were so impressed with Steve and the reaction that he got that they decided to offer him a full-time contract with the soap. Well now, Steve is back and hopefully staying put for the long run. The actor recently took to his podcast, ‘That’s Awesome with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson,’ to reveal his return date. He said, “So set your calendar, Peacock! March 20th! It’s going to be fun. Finally, the time has come!”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Harris Michaels?

People magazine reported late last year that Harris Michaels will also have a “thrilling new storyline.” He will also be working alongside other DOOL vets such as Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn. It certainly doesn’t get any better than that, right? If you ask us, this is absolutely must-see TV.

So far Steve himself hasn’t shared any additional details about his comeback, but there’s no doubt that his fans are super excited to see him on the canvas again. As much as his die hard fans would love to see him return to Port Charles, they are just going to have to settle with Salem right now.
