General Hospital spoilers say that when Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has something to say, you better believe that everyone in the room is going to sit up and listen. It looks like Liz has a huge confession to make after she had spent the last several weeks wondering is she should come forward about Nikolas Cassadine and the truth about how they harbored Esme at Windermere. Well, it looks like Liz is about to speak her mind about the matter. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Liz has decided that she doesn’t want to spend the rest of her life waiting if that other shoe will ever drop. She’s been there, done that too many times in the past and wants to go to sleep every night knowing that she can rest easy.
Rebecca Herbst puts it this way to the publication in a new interview, “She had been through that before with the whole hiding Peter August thing. She’s lived with constantly looking over her shoulder and she doesn’t want to do that again, so she feels it would be best just to come clean and deal with the consequences so that her boys can look at their mother and be proud of who she is. That’s her reasoning.”
However, General Hospital spoilers say that Ava Jerome (Maura West) puts two and two together as far as what Liz is doing and goes into panic mode. Liz doesn’t know just how much Ava is riding on her silence right now. Rebecca says, “She did pick up on the fact that Ava was trying too hard. It is definitely on her radar that there was something too forceful about Ava trying to get her not to go to the police.”
