Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: Lindsay Arnold Opens Up About What’s Next

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that it’s certainly never easy having to say good-bye, especially when you have a job that you love so much. If there’s anyone who knows that feeling all too well, it’s actress Lindsay Arnold, who has just stepped down from her role as Allie Horton in Salem. Here’s what she has to say about it.

Lindsay told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview that while it was certainly hard to leave Days of Our Lives because the cast and crew felt so much like her family, it was also a major turning point for her. She said, “Days was a huge step in my career. It was so important for my professional and personal life. It’s something that gave me a lot of confidence and showed me how much I can do, because of all the storylines I was given and working alongside all the talent I got to work with.”

Lindsay added that the biggest change she’s seen in her is her confidence. She explained, “It has made me a lot more confident in my acting ability. I was able to show myself that I can really do so many different things that I didn’t think I was capable of before the show. I would also say that I’ve really come out of my shell being on DAYS. Having to move to a whole new state at 20 years old and make all new friends was so daunting. Three years later, I look back and am so in love with the friends I’ve made out here, and I had the best time being on the show. I feel like I came into being a young woman on the show. When I joined, I felt like a kid. So that’s been the biggest shift. I really grew up being on DAYS. I’m coming out of it confident, knowing myself a lot more and feeling a lot more capable in my abilities as an actress.”

Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: What’s Next For Lindsay?

The beautiful blonde added that while it might be “cheesy” to admit it, she truly does love everyone on the show. She said, “Especially working with Carson [Boatman, Johnny], Raven [Bowens, Chanel], Lucas [Adams, Tripp] and Victoria [Konefal, ex-Ciara]. They’ve become some of my best friends in L.A. That was really special, going to work with them every day.”
