The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will soon receive a cryptic message teasing that all her problems will be over. The intriguing message invites her to be at a certain place at a certain time to find out – but is she being led into a trap?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Public Place, Should Be Safe

Normally, Diane would be suspicious of such a message but it came to her phone as a text, so it has to be someone who has her phone number. The number it came from wasn’t shown but Chancellor Park in the daytime is generally pretty safe-the cryptic message indicating a worthwhile surprise was waiting that would be worth her while. Diane thinks who it could be, but she isn’t coming up with much-if it were Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) he wouldn’t fail to identify himself.

Diane changed her phone number and only trusted people have it-she can’t imagine who would send her a message like that and not identify themselves, but she’s curious. She decides to go to the stated place in the park at the stated time and see what this surprise is.

Y & R Spoilers: Not As Safe As She Thinks

Little does Diane know, she’s not going to be as safe as she thinks – someone sneaked a look into Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) phone and got her number. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had no business looking in her son in law’s phone but they happened to be somewhere at the same time and he left it on a table. Phyllis created a distraction and took a photo of his contacts list with her phone, since he was worried about his son.

If Kyle had been thinking, he could have anticipated his mother in law was up to something shady when she said Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) his daddy’s assistance. But Kyle has been too preoccupied with plotting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) lately, so he was distracted.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Walking Into Danger

Diane soon realizes that she’s been walking into danger, and has been led right into a trap, by someone who would like nothing better than to get rid of her permanently. But it’s not Phyllis who comes to meet her in Chancellor Park, it’s Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), and he is not there for a social visit. He’s there to collect what he says is his, and he’s not taking no for an answer this time-she set him up, stole his money and she owes him.

He gives her a choice – give him what’s owed him or he’ll take it by force. Diane tries to hide her fear, but Stark sees through her-she’s in trouble!
