General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas is Dead — and His Baby is Born

General Hospital spoilers tease Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) really is dead. It’s not a con or a staged event. He’s truly dead, and his family is going to have to come to terms with that reality in the days that lie ahead. First, there is quite a bit of drama going down at Wyndemere, and someone else might pay with their life before any of them get out of there. In the interim, Esme Price (Avery Kristen Pohl) is going to give birth to Nikolas’ child, and it’s anyone’s guess who will help her welcome their baby into the world.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas is Out

When Marcus Coloma’s departure sent out red flags on Twitter and Instagram, GH fans were in a frenzy wondering if his exit had something to do with who would be coming on board to replace him.

As it turns out, no one is. Adam Huss filled the role for just a few days in the end, but Nikolas actually is dead and it sounds like he will remain six feet under for quite some time. A reprisal of the role isn’t likely anything soon with the current storyline playing out, but fans are still holding out hope that someday, he’ll come back, as played by Tyler Christopher.

GH Spoilers Say Esme Isn’t Down With Ryan and Heather’s Plan

Esme hasn’t felt right about Heather since the moment they met. Heather has been overbearing and far too interested in Esme and her baby, and frankly, it’s creeped her out a bit. That being said, Heather hasn’t conveyed to Esme yet that she has a vested interest in her as her mother.

Then, when Ryan and Heather took Esme with them during their prison break, she grew quite concerned about what lay ahead. Watching Heather hook Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) was enough to lead Esme to pass out. Taking off into the woods while going into labor and being chased down by Ryan is not how she pictured this playing out.

General Hospital Spoilers — Baby to the Rescue

Conveniently, Esme will give birth during this chaos. It appears that the trauma of the recent events has been enough to bring on contractions that aren’t going to stop. In an ironic twist, Esme will give birth at Wyndemere right on Spoon Island after all, albeit not in the company of Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas. She could ask for Nik during the experience, and Ava may tell her he has left town. This could make for an interesting birth story for Esme as she begins to worry about what will become of her child after this moment. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
