British Royal News says that it sounds as though he doesn’t have the time or doesn’t want to make the time for this to happen. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles won’t be able to find the time to sit down and work out all of his issues with Prince Harry before the Coronation, should his son decide to travel to London for all of the festivities. While no one knows exactly what might be going on behind closed doors for King Charles and the rest of the royal family, at this point it’s safe to say that no one is really making much of an effort to reach out to Prince Harry to try and iron out the differences between them. And while it’s been suggested that the King of England does want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend his Coronation – just because it’ll make the family look good on their end – he also doesn’t want to deal with any of Harry’s drama.
One source close to the situation told The Daily Beast, “Harry has been very clear and his position hasn’t wavered—he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral. He’s said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed.”
But the insider also added: “Charles adores Harry and wants him to be there. But he has a coronation to organize. He simply won’t have the time to organize a special meeting with Harry.”
So far both Buckingham Palace and Prince Harry have not said anything about the matter. It’ll be interesting to see if Harry and Meghan even do decide to attend the Coronation. Watch this space as we have a feeling there’s so much more to come.
