General Hospital spoilers say that fans sure do love them together but on screen and off screen, too. Of course, we are talking about actresses and co-stars Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and Genie Francis (Laura Spencer). The two good friends recently celebrated the hit ABC soap’s 60th anniversary in a way that we’ve never seen them before. Here’s what you need to know.
Nancy shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the two actresses and friends having a little fun during the 60th anniversary celebrations at ABC studios. The two women were goofing around in large ‘60’ numbers with a lot of fans commenting on how adorable they looked together – and we certainly agree with that, too!
Nancy has made it no secret that she absolutely loves working for General Hospital, the ABC Network and of course, Disney. Back in June of last year, she took to her Twitter account to write, “Very very proud to work @Disney for what is now 26 yrs. They’ve not only made it possible for me to have my Kate & raise her in a privileged way as a single mom, but they care about women’s health.”
Nancy has also said that she applauded the ABC Network for standing firm in their vaccine mandate to ensure that all of their employees stay safe from COVID-19. As a result, two of her former co-stars, Ingo Rademacher and Steve Burton, lost their jobs because they refused to comply with the mandate. Steve has managed to since find a job on Days of Our Lives, but it seems like Ingo is still struggling to find work. To make matters worse, Ingo has also sued the ABC network for discrimination as he believes that he lost his job simply because he’s refused to take the vaccine.
Of course, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
