And yes, there’s even been some suggestion that it might be Adam Newman who she might get pregnant with, too! Talk about double baby daddy drama, right? As many The Young and the Restless fans know by now, actress Melissa Claire Egan, who portrays Chelsea on the hit CBS soap, is pregnant with her second child. She made the announcement on her Instagram page, much to the delight of her fans everywhere. And now that she’s pregnant, there’s some speculation that her character might be sporting a baby bump in no time, too. It would only make sense for Chelsea to get pregnant the same time that Melissa is, right?
Well, with that said, a lot of The Young and the Restless fans can’t help but wonder who might end up being Chelsea’s baby daddy. It’s definitely wild speculation, but there’s a chance that it would be Adam Newman, seeing how she’s always been hung up on him. Of course, he’s already in a pickle with Sally Spectra’s pregnancy, so could you imagine him getting two women in Genoa City pregnant at the same time? Now that would be the kind of drama everyone would tune in for. It would be a cat fight to the very finish between these two fiesty women, and let’s just say that Chelsea is not the kind of woman who likes to lose.
So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the matter, but if there’s anything we’ve learned about life in Genoa City, it’s that you can always expect the unexpected.
