Of course, we are talking about Phyllis Summers and how she’s still a threat to Kyle and Summer. At least, that’s the way actor Michael Mealor puts it as he thinks that his character is going to have another run-in with his mother-in-law. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soaps.com in a new interview, the actor admitted that Phyllis Summers has never really been a huge fan of Kyle’s. But that’s something that we already knew, right? He put it this way, “She’s never been Kyle’s biggest fan. And with good reason, on a certain level. What mother wants to see her daughter marry a man with whom she’s had an on-again/off-again relationship for years?”

Not only that, but Michael believes that Phyllis will continue to be a problem for Kyle and Summer, especially with her very mischievous ways. He said, “If Phyllis stops believing in the love that Summer and Kyle share, she might start whispering in Summer’s ear. How is she going to — manipulate might be a strong word, but influence — Summer’s take on the situation?”

Even with that in mind, Michael says that Kyle knows that he needs to do everything he can to protect his loved ones. He said, “Kyle has every intention of doing whatever it takes to protect his family.”
