The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this has got to be the most awkward scene in Genoa City history ever, and in more ways than one! That’s because both Sharon Case and Courtney Hope had to share a scene together in which Sharon Newman gave a little pregnancy and life advice to Courtney’s Sally Spectra. As many fans are probably already aware of by now, actor Mark Grossman recently dumped Sharon Case to be with his other co-star, Courtney. That in itself has to be very difficult for Sharon. What’s more, Sharon Newman has to also find it pretty uncomfortable that Courtney has been sleeping with both of her exes – Adam and Nick – and that she doesn’t even know who the baby daddy is! Talk about a two-fold problem.

Of course, The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some comments have included, “This scene was not only in poor taste given the behind scenes stuff with Courtney and Sharon in real life but also to Sharon and Shick and Shadam fans. To fill some imposter in on advice on how to deal with her exes instead of being suspicious and disapproving?! Sharon’s been down this road too many times with all of Nick’s and Adams execs,” along with, “I wasn’t aware that Sally and Adam are a real life item. I wonder if that’s why the writers/network broke them up on the show? They had chemistry whereas Nick and Sally, meh. Plus, the fabricated need to keep the pregnancy a secret from Adam but telling everyone else you’re pregnant and Adam could be the dad is stupid. Other than Adam regretting breaking it off with Sally (he did it so Sally could thrive running the media division at family company: noble in my book), he has not been written as a stalker or even hateful towards Sally so why she feels keeping it a secret is beyond me other than she loves DRAMA.”
