Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle ‘Expected’ To Attend The Coronation, But There Won’t Be Any Reconciliation Talks

This sounds more like a royal order than an invitation. British Royal News suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not given much of a say about King Charles’ Coronation and whether or not they want to attend the grand festivities. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “expected” to attend the Coronation, but that they also shouldn’t expect reconciliation talks, either. According to The Independent, King Charles is making it pretty clear that it’s either my way or the highway when it comes to Harry and Meghan and what will most likely be the biggest day of his royal reign. One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Members of the family have told me that both Harry and Meghan will definitely come. They fully expect that. And they should realize that there is only one subject that many members of the royal family will be willing to discuss… and that’s the weather.”

With that said though, the Duke of Sussex has made it pretty clear that in order for him to move forward and past this feud, he wants his family to apologize him and to Meghan Markle for all the things that have been said behind closed doors in the past. In other words, he wants to hold the ball in his court until that happens. Now, whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but the prince has certainly stated where he is at this point.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

Prince Harry told ABC News in an interview, “I don’t think that we can ever have peace with my family unless the truth is out there. There’s a lot that I can forgive, but there need to be conversations in order for reconciliation, and part of that has to be accountability.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
