The Young and the Restless Alum Max Ehrich Lands A New Role

The Young and the Restless star Max Erich is back on the small screen. And while there might be some fans out there hoping that he’ll be making his way back to the daytime television world, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. Instead, he just landed a new role in a new movie called Southern Gospel. Here’s what you need to know about it.

Fans will have their chance to see Max on the big screen very soon as Southern Gospel hits cinemas beginning March 10th. The actor even took to his Instagram account to write, “I’m infinitely excited to announce my new film, Southern Gospel, is being wide released in theaters March 10! Southern Gospel tells the inspirational true story of a rock star given a second chance to overcome his past. I hope this film inspires us all to never surrender our dreams even when obstacles come.”

Max also added, “For us all to have more compassion, kindness, and grace towards ourselves and others for we are all growing continuously on our journey.”

As many of Max’s fans probably remember, he made a lot of headlines back in 2020 for his very brief relationship and even engagement with chart topper Demi Lovato. In September of that year, she pulled the plus on their engagement as they were supposedly having a difficult time making their relationship work.

At the time, Max was accused of sending ‘thirsty’ social media messages to Demi’s former best friend Selena Gomez along with pop starlets Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus. However, Demi defended her fiancé at the time, claiming that the screenshotted messages were all fake. “It’s really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other,” she wrote. “If women have conflict that’s between them NOT YOU.”
