Days of Our Lives spoilers say that if he looks familiar, it’s because he most certainly is! Of course, we are talking about actor Blake Berris, who has returned to Salem to reprise his role as the late Nick Fallon. Read below all of the spoilers that you need to know!
In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Blake tells the publication that when he agreed to come back on the soap, he had no idea what was in store for him. He put it this way, “I’m so interested every time they call because my character is dead. Then I started reading the script and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, this is bonkers,’ but I just loved the writing of it so much. After the initial shock of, ‘Oh, he’s Satan’s secretary,’ I just loved it. It’s really funny, there’s some great comedy in it.”
Blake also admitted that he never really thought he’d come back to Days of Our Lives seeing that his character had died back in 2014. But if there’s anything that we’ve learned about the soap world, it’s that you are never really dead even when they hammer that last nail into your coffin, right?
He said, “I thought maybe there was a world in which I played a different character, the other way that people would come back, but I really didn’t think he’d be rising from the dead. And certainly not as a zombie or a gatekeeper to pursue purgatory, but I absolutely love it. Especially at the juncture I’m at in my life, where I’m going a lot more writing, producing and directing stuff at the moment.”
That said, there’s no doubt that Blake’s fans are so happy that he’s back! Of course, Days of Our Lives fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
