If there’s anything we’ve learned about the world of daytime television, it’s that you can never say never. As many times as fans have seen some of their favorite actors leave the soap world to pursue other projects in the entertainment world, a lot of them have managed to come back to their soap roots for one reason or another. And it looks like The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan might be one of those stars who might be coming back to reprise her role as Amanda Sinclair sooner rather than later. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though Mishael had initially shocked her fans when she announced that she would be stepping down from her role late last year, it seems like she’s now ready to make a comeback. While she hasn’t made any official announcement just yet, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder what might be going on as she recently shared a photo of herself on a flight back to Los Angeles. Is she coming back to film some scenes for The Young and the Restless? That’s what fans want to know.
But at the same time, Mishael did make it pretty clear back in December that she was ready to move on from the daytime television world. She wrote on her Instagram page, “I just wrapped for my last scenes back at Y&R and I just wanted to let the cat out of the bag a little bit. A lot of people have noticed that my name is not on the main credits anymore and I wanted everybody to know that it was my decision. I decided, actually back in December, that I wanted to take a bit of a step back from the show. I just feel like at this point in my life and at this point in my career, I wanted to mix things up a little bit.”
