General Hospital news says that if there’s one Port Charles couple that has been getting a lot of attention lately, it has got to be Anna Devane and Valentin Cassadine. In fact, there are a lot of people out there who believe that the couple have the best and hottest chemistry in front of the cameras right now and they most certainly aren’t wrong. Here’s why.
Of course, many General Hospital fans have said just how much they love seeing #Vanna together on social media (you’ve got to love that hashtag, right?). Some comments have included, “They look so freaking cute together. Absolute chemistry with these two actors! Hope they keep writing adventures for them – they are at their best when they are running around trying to save someone or themselves!” along with, “When General Hospital first brought JPS on to the show, I thought it would be really interesting to have Anna & he be a couple. Lots of crazy chemistry, & wild relationship adventures!”
Another fan wrote, “Valentin & Anna are the hottest couple on GH, in a sea of hot people!!! When Valentin kisses Anna, it looks so real & it makes me melt!!!! I LOVE VANNA!!”
Back in 2020, Finola Hughes opened up to Soap Opera Digest about what makes the Vanna pairing work so well. The actress said that both she and her co-star James Patrick are “major fans of each other, so it’s very silly when we get in scenes together. A lot of people who act like the way that the character of Valentin behaves have a very deep wound, and Anna has seen that deep wound because she knew him way back when.”
In a separate interview, James Patrick also added that Valentin and Anna have “sort of a deeper connection… He’s able to have a more sophisticated connection with Anna that never really loses the understanding that there will always be a current in those wires. The ink is not exactly dry in that story — ever.”
