The Bold and the Beautiful news says that when it comes to this fictional town of Los Angeles, you just never know who is coming and who is leaving, although there are plenty of stars who often stay. With that said, there’s been some internet chatter that The Young and the Restless star Doug Davidson should make the switch and join the B&B cast cast in Los Angeles seeing how it doesn’t look like he’ll be going back to Genoa City anymore. Here’s what you need to know.
For the longest time, The Young and the Restless fans have been begging the producers and the writers to bring back Doug’s character, Paul Williams. After all, the handsome detective has been on the show for over forty years. But for some unknown reason or another, the show’s execs have decided against and have left Paul’s future in limbo for many long years. There’s even been some internet speculation that Paul might get killed off the show, much to the dismay and even anger of some of the character’s fans.
That’s why there are a lot of people who think Paul Williams should consider moving to another daytime television show like General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, or even The Bold and the Beautiful. It would actually make sense for Paul to make the switch to The Young and the Restless’ sister soap, as many characters often do. In fact, a few years ago the fictional Sally Spectra left The Bold and the Beautiful to make a new home for herself on The Young and the Restless.
