And while it’s unlikely that he’s going to use the camera time to slam his son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, there’s a very good chance that he might be asked about all of the accusations that the Duke of Sussex has so far made against the royal family. According to new reports, King Charles is set to break his silence on the ongoing feud between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royal family as plans are currently being made for his own bombshell of a television interview. There’s a chance that it might air on the BBC before his Coronation in May.

One source close to the situation says, “Plans are already up and running for Coronation coverage at the BBC, including the profile on the monarch. It is not the done thing to avoid subjects in interviews, so it makes matters tricky. Even one small comment on Harry and Meghan would make worldwide news. It could also prompt a response from Harry, which would be unpredictable, like so much. Everything is very delicate.”

The insider added, “There remains an option for the family to simply produce a Coronation speech or content they film and supply. It allows control over what is said and would not address the Sussexes.”

Now, whether or not Harry and Meghan event attend the Coronation remains to be seen, but right now Harry has suggested that he and his wife are undecided on the matter. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
