The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this was a moment that everyone knew was going to happen sooner or later. It looks like Victoria and Nate are going to get pretty up close and personal as they are going to share a kiss that might take their personal relationship to the next level. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, it’s no secret that Nate is burning the midnight oil at Newman Media. He shows up to the office with a bottle of bourbon. And while Nate has definitely turned his back on the family business, Victoria feels that with her, it’s different.
Actress Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “She thinks she knows him better than that. She believes that he’s not really that kind of a person. He did something that she probably would have done herself, so she can’t judge him for that. In fact, she actually admires him for it. He wasn’t given proper credit for his talent and drive at Chancellor Winters. Before Victor gave Victoria a chance to be the CEO of Newman, he was always testing her but never rewarding her. So she wants to reward Nate.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Victoria praises the team that they’ve become, the mood changes. And before she knows it, the two of them share a passionate kiss. But this certainly doesn’t surprise anyone, right?
Amelia adds, “it’s more Victoria being the instigator but Nate doesn’t stop the kiss. Of course, they still have to maintain a professional relationship but there’s a new element that has been added. And make no mistake about it, she’s definitely smitten with him.”
