Or at least, that’s what it seems like. Actress Katherine Kelly Lang, who is best known for her role as Brooke Logan on the hit CBS soap, recently opened up about what’s next for her character and how she likes the fact that Brooke is finally in charge of her own destiny. Here’ what she has to say.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Katherine says that she’s thrilled with the fact that her character has finally made the right choice in her life when she decided to choose herself over Ridge Forrester. She told the publication, “I’ve said this for a while now, that Brooke needs to take some time for herself. She really needs to put herself first. There are so many things I want to see for her, but she has a way to go to get there.”
Katherine added, “I like seeing her in charge of her own destiny and playing her self-esteem—and it’s a great message for all the women that they don’t need a man to make them complete.”

What’s more, the stunning actress also said that she likes the fact that Brooke is finally bonding with her longtime nemesis, Taylor Hayes, who is played by Krista Allen. She said, “Krista [Allen, Taylor] and I have been having a ball playing those scenes, and it’s nice to see Brooke finally have a real girlfriend. That’s something she has been missing for quite some time.”
