General Hospital Spoilers: Is Trina Going to Be Spencer’s Saving Grace?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is in trouble — and the worst kind at that. Cassadine men are notorious for getting themselves into situations they can’t get out of — most often in the name of revenge. Now that Spencer has his sights set on getting payback against his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), for sleeping with his ex-girlfriend and once again putting his own interests above his son’s, he might be in over his head and not see it.

Of course, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will see it coming from a mile away, but she might not know Spencer as well as she thinks she does when it comes time to stop him. Ultimately, what has cost many Cassadine men their beloved women is that they don’t know how to quit when they’re ahead. Will Spencer’s revenge plan cost him Trina, or might she be able to save him from himself first?

When Spencer declares his intent to go after custody of Nikolas’ child with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), heads will turn. Everyone will be talking about this case, which will bring the prince and his son into the public court of law to air their dirty laundry in an attempt to have someone else decide who is a more fit father and human being. This means Spencer’s crimes will be on display, but he’s pretty used to that having just been released from Pentonville recently. Nikolas, on the other hand, isn’t all that accustomed to having his sins splashed across the front page of newspapers. He will be now.

GH Spoilers Hint One of Spencer’s Allies Is In This For Himself

Spencer might think he’s off to a great start as his family rallies behind him. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) appears to be on his side more so than Nikolas’, which will come as a striking blow to Nik. Even Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is starting to lose faith in her son and see more of it in her grandson, at least where the baby is concerned. However, Spencer could misunderstand his great uncle Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaugnessy) interest in helping himself with an interest in helping Spencer, and that might land him in hot water later.

We’ve waited for nearly two years for Trina and Spencer to find their way back to one another. Trina so desperately wants to believe Spencer is going this for all the right reasons, but the more she seems how delighted he is by sticking it to his father, the more Trina will recognize Spencer’s motives are all about rebellion and revenge, and that he’s no more concerned about the welfare of the baby than he is his father’s wellbeing.
