He might no longer be on the canvas for The Young and the Restless, but that doesn’t mean the daytime television world has forgotten about him. There are new reports that say fans now have an opportunity to hang with the one and only Doug Davidson in Punta Cana out of all places! Doug is best known for his role as Paul Williams on the hit CBS soap. Here’s what you need to know.
Days of Our Lives star Eric Martsolf announced that he and Doug Davidson will be on hand for the Rick Springfield Getaway that will take place in Punta Cana later this year. Along with a few musical guests and special friends, the all-inclusive getaway will take place October 5-9. Talk about an exciting way to meet your favorite daytime television stars and enjoy a sun-filled vacation, too, right? Now, as far as whether or not Doug will be back on The Young and the Restless, nobody really knows that answer for sure. It wasn’t too long ago that Doug said that he sees “no return” back to The Young and the Restless. Back in late 2022, Doug wrote to his Twitter fans, “You guys are amazing. I don’t think there is a chance of a return, but your love and support is so incredibly beautiful to me.”
So far the producers of The Young and the Restless have made no comments about the matter. However, there was some speculation suggesting that Paul Williams was going to get killed off, much to the dismay of his fans everywhere. Now, whether or not that actually happens, remains to be seen. Watch this space.
