No, this is not a crossover situation, but it can certainly turn into a similar one. Everyone knows that The Young and the Restless’ Sally Spectra is currently pregnant and that she doesn’t know who her baby daddy is. It could easily be Nick Newman’s child, or it could be Adam Newman’s baby. But because the two men are brothers, there’s a very good chance that a DNA test won’t be able to correctly tell who the baby daddy is because both men are related. Sound familiar? Well, it should because The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy Forrester went through the same exact thing several years ago. Here’s what you need to know.
As many The Bold and the Beautiful fans can recall, Steffy Forrester was pregnant with her first child several years ago. The problem with that scenario was that she was married to Liam Spencer and also having a hot and heavy romance with her father-in-law Bill Spencer out of all people. And while it was determined at the end that Liam was indeed the father of her baby, no one really knows that for sure. Because Bill and Liam are so closely related (Bill is his father after all!), there’s no knowing if the DNA test was ultimately correct. Steffy’s baby could easily be Bill’s as much as it could be Liam’s and that’s something The Bold and the Beautiful fans may never know.
Going back to Sally Spectra, a lot of The Young and the Restless fans believe that she would be better off telling both men the truth about how she slept with both of them and how she doesn’t know who the baby daddy is – even though he is most definitely a Newman.
