General Hospital news says this is why the girl left Port Charles behind – she’s going after her new life, her new love, and her new career all the way across the pond. Kelly Thiebaud, who is best known for her role as Britt Westboune on the hit ABC soap, has settled in to her new hometown of London and from what we can tell already, things are looking pretty good for her. Here’s what you need to know.
The actress, who recently said her final good-bye in Port Charles, shared a new photo from London on her Instagram account and captioned it with, “New year, new city, new adventures and opportunities but always the same me.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for her fans and her followers to comment on her photo. Many of them said, “Miss you Kelly aka Brit. Miss you, you were my favorite,” along with, “I cried during your last scenes with GH! You are an amazing actress and I will miss watching you everyday but am excited to see what is in store for you! I hope to see you up on the screen again when you are ready.”
Another fan said, “I wish you happiness in your new adventures. One thing I don’t understand is why they killed you off? GH needs Britt.”
Kelly recently told Soap Opera Digest that one of the reasons why she decided to pack her bags and move is because she found the love of her life. She said, “There are so many different aspects of it, honestly. One is that I’m in love and have been doing long-distance for almost a year now and my partner cannot move to the States at the moment. But also, as a lot of people who have followed me on the show know, I am very interested in doing other things with my career. As much as I love Britt and I love the fans and I love working on GENERAL HOSPITAL, I just felt like I had to leave and go and pursue those other dreams and goals of mine, because being [on GH full time] doesn’t really allow the flexibility to do other projects. So those were the two biggest factors in my decision.”
