British Royal News: Kim Kardashian Gets Trolled For Buying Princess Diana’s Cross

Her critics are making it pretty clear that they think she’s no princess and she’s certainly no Diana. British Royal News says Kim Kardashian is getting trolled, dragged and everything else on the internet by critics who think that she shouldn’t have bought Princess Diana’s cross. The reality television star bought a pendant previously worn by Princess Diana. The amethyst and diamond-encrusted Attallah crucifix was created by Garrod London and apparently loaned to Diana by its owner several times. Sothebys confirm that it sold today by auction for $197,453.

A lot of Kim’s critics believe that she’s going to damage the iconic piece of jewelry the same way she supposedly ripped Marilyn Monroe’s dress when she wore it for the MET Gala in May of last year. Some of the jewels from the back of the dress fell off after Kim wore it. 

“She’s really trying to traumatize the ghosts of iconic women,” tweeted Def Noodles, while another wrote, “thinking about kim k’s dedication to latching onto the already existing fashion legacies of dead people.”

“Diana has been exploited ENOUGH and for Kimberly to go out of her way to purchase something that should be in a museum is quite sickening and not in a good way,” one fired-up Twitter user wrote; “this necklace should’ve gone to one of diana’s granddaughters,” another one said.

There was also this comment, “Lord she really thinks purchasing s—t is going to make her ‘adjacent-to’ …her thirst is real ya’ll…her thirst is real.”

So far Kim Kardashian herself has not made any comments about the matter but there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing her wear the piece of jewelry sooner rather than later. At least it’s not a tiara, right? Here’s hoping that she doesn’t get any new ideas with that one. There’s enough tiara drama going on at Buckingham Palace as it is.
