The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that while a lot of viewers knew that sooner or later this was going to happen, that doesn’t mean they wanted it to happen. Not only do Bill and Sheila make love, but the man who used to be called Dollar Bill tells Sheila that he loves her, too. This is certainly moving fast, isn’t it? Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer on the hit CBS soap, tells Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “For the first time in a long time, maybe ever, Bill has found acceptance. Sheila doesn’t tell him what he can or cannot do. She doesn’t say, ‘You should be this or you should be that,’ or, ‘This is a negative part of your personality.’ She is actually very protective of him, at a time when he needs that. Bill is emotionally vulnerable.”
And because of that reason, Don says that Sheila is the right woman for his character right now. Don continues, “When it comes to his emotional state of being, he sees love and punishment as one and the same, and maybe he deserves them both. He feels he is not deserving of anything better. This is what he thinks he deserves.”
Even though both Sheila and Bill are certainly feeling the love for one another right now, everyone else isn’t. There’s a lot of speculation circulating as to why Bill would even want to be with a villain like Sheila. Don explains, “He is not reachable at the moment by anyone who loves him. He’s not well. I don’t know if he was eer well, but he’s certainly not now.”
