General Hospital news says that Nancy Lee Grahn has given her fans an update on her status. And no, it’s not exactly what you are thinking. The actress, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis, has been out due to COVID. Thankfully, things are getting a little better for her although she hasn’t fully recovered from the virus just yet. Keep reading below for everything you need to know!
Nancy took to her Twitter account to write, “FWI. Fully vaccinated, masked in public & protected due to @Disney protocol. Made error of attending @VibratoJazz unmasked. As a result got Covid badly. Thankfully given Paxlovid which kept me from potential hospitalization. Rebounded which was lesser consequence. Recovering well.”
Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for her fans and her followers to comment on her tweet. Many of them wrote, “So glad to hear you are on the mend. After having COVID twice (once after a full round of vaccines), I am so grateful that I was vaccinated. Could have been so much worse. Wishing you a speedy recovery.” along with, “Did the same type of thing in July 2021 attending a class reunion in Montana unmasked. Was and still am a dedicated masker; but at this one event/weekend, I did not mask. Delta variant hit hard!”
Another fan wrote, “We disagree politically, severely, but I’m very thankful to hear that you’re recovering well from contracting Covid. I hope you continue to feel better without any long-term effects. I added you to my prayer list.”
Back on July 6th, Nancy took to her Instagram account to tell her fans, “It finally got me. Guess I’ll be staying in Carmel locked in a room for the next few days.”
Here’s hoping that Nancy continues to recover and that she goes back to doing what she loves real fast, and that’s working on the set of General Hospital. It’s no doubt that everyone misses her!
