The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 16 2023 show that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) can tell that something is not quite right with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). She confronts him and he fills her in on his latest business misadventures. Fans know that he’s pulled a weasel move and wants to cut and run from Chancellor-Winters.

In dealing with Devon, his sister Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) take a meeting and throw out ideas for a new game plan based on the fact that Devon wants out and stressed that his decision was final.

But Lily wants to do something drastic to avoid a corporate disaster if the company is dissolved. She may be able to change Devon’s mind with her plan, or at least conflict him.

Lily’s plan sounds very good, but headstrong Devon will continue to want to be on his own and not merged with others who he must cooperate with. And he said Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was a stubborn man!

Meanwhile, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has a fight with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). She is beginning to tire of his mom’s hijinks and her mom is all for it. Explosive show spoilers show that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) comes upon the marital scene and tries to run interference.

At the same time, Summer and Daniel are concerned about their mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Red is all in on getting Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out of town but her kids think that her vindictiveness could end up hurting her as much as Diane—if not more.

Phyllis pursues a new revenge strategy as she is unable to let go and let live. The stakes are especially high since Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are also up to their necks in plots against Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Look for Phyllis’ meddling to cause chaos Y&R fans!
