British Royal News says that all he’s doing is stating the facts. Prince Harry says that he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with him poking fun at his brother Prince William and his receding hairline. Here’s what you need to know.
In Spare, Prince Harry talks about William’s “alarming hair loss.” He said that during Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, “I looked at Willy, really looked at him, perhaps for the first time since we were little,” and called his thinning hair “alarming” and “more advanced than mine.”
When asked about the matter, Harry told Anderson Cooper of 60 Minutes, “I don’t see it as cutting at all. My brother and I love each other. I love him deeply.”
Meanwhile, Harry says that his father King Charles blamed himself for his son’s mental health issues. Harry says that back in the early 2010s, he sat down and talked to his father about everything that he was dealing with, including his panic and anxiety attacks. He writes that his father Charles simply “lowered his head and said, ‘I suppose it’s my fault. I should have gotten you the help you needed years ago.’”
Harry went on to tell his father that it wasn’t his fault. “But I appreciated the apology,” he added.
With that said, new reports say that Prince Harry has been written out of his father’s Coronation, which is set to take place on May 6th. According to new reports, Harry will be treated as though he’s not a member of the royal family, should he decide to return to the UK for King Charles’ Coronation.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Harry’s book, but at this point it’s doubtful that they will. But then again, a lot of people have pointed out that Harry isn’t full of hair on his end, either. Just imagine if William had something to say about that, right? Watch this space.
