British Royal News says that Kate Middleton feels outraged and hurt from all of the oversharing that Prince Harry has done in his book, Spare. She particularly doesn’t like the fact that the Duke of Sussex has detailed all of the petty feuding between her and Meghan Markle. Here’s what you need to know.
The Princess of Wales has every reason to be upset, seeing how Harry has released private texts sent between herself and Kate. It all went down just a few days before Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 and had to do with Princess Charlotte’s dress. “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on a home,” the Princess of Wales allegedly wrote to her soon-to-be sister-in-law.
“Meg didn’t reply to Kate straight away,” Harry wrote in his book. “Yes, she had endless wedding-related texts, but mostly she was dealing with the chaos surrounding her father. So the next morning she texted Kate that our tailor was standing by.”
“I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am,” a response from Markle reportedly read. “Here. At KP [Kensington Palace]. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?”
Harry adds, “Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!”
He also added that Kate had other “problems with the way Meg was planning her wedding. Something about a party for the page boys? It went back and forth.”
After the texting squabble, Kate reluctantly texted, “Fine.”
But that’s not all. Apparently, Kate freaked out when Meghan suggested that she had baby brain. Harry claims Kate told Meghan: “You talked about my hormones. We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones!” To make things worse, Kate was so offended by what Meghan had said that when she was holding onto an upholstered side of her chair, her fingers had gone white. Meghan was so perplexed by how Kate had reacted that she didn’t know what to say herself but insisted that was the way she spoke to her friends.
