British Royal News: Prince William And Kate Middleton Were Huge Fans Of ‘Suits’ Before Harry Met Meghan

Well color us surprised, and we mean really surprised. While the rest of the world didn’t first hear about Meghan Markle until she began dating Prince Harry, apparently Prince William and Kate Middleton knew all about her. That’s because they were huge fans of the USA drama network series Suits. That seems to be surprising because there weren’t that many people who even knew about the show before Meghan’s name began making headlines. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Harry’s new book, Spare, both William and Kate were floored when he told them that he was dating Meghan, who the royal couple knew because of Suits. “Their mouths fell open,” Harry writes. “They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said, ‘F–k off?’”

Harry added that his brother and sister-in-law were “regular – nay, religious – viewers of ‘Suits.’”

We couldn’t make this stuff up if we tried!

In the book, Harry also writes that in 2018, Meghan was put in her place after she suggested that Kate was suffering from the all too familiar “baby brain” ahead of their wedding in May 2018. Apparently, Meghan and Kate had a little bit of an argument and the Duchess of Sussex said that her sister-in-law “must have baby brain because of her hormones.”

Harry wrote, “There was a discussion about the timing of the wedding rehearsal and the flower girl dresses and Kate was very upset.”

The Duke added that Meghan was reprimanded for her comment and that she was told that she wasn’t close enough to Kate to make a comment like that. 

Back in 2021, and in her interview with Oprah, Meghan said she  simply wanted to correct a story that royal family failed to do on their end about who made who cry before her wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018. While the media suggested it was the Duchess of Sussex who was acting unfair and difficult, Meghan clarified to Oprah that it was in fact KateMiddleton who made her cry.
