British Royal News: Prince Harry Admits He Lied About His Cocaine Use

British Royal News says that it seems like the truth and nothing more than the truth is coming out in Prince Harry’s much anticipated memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex admits that he wasn’t actually honest about his drug use as a teenager. In fact, Harry now admits that he did do cocaine when he was 17. Here’s what you need to know.

In his book, Harry says that the British tabloids were spot on when they portrayed his father King Charles III as a “harried single dad coping with a drug-addled child.” That’s because Harry was  “of course … doing cocaine around this time.”

“I’d been offered a line, and I’d done a few more since,” Harry explains. “It wasn’t much fun, and it didn’t make me particularly happy, as it seemed to make everyone around me. But it did make me feel different, and that was the main goal.”

In the book, Harry also says that he was assaulted by his brother Prince William back in 2019. Harry says that some insults were exchanged before William said that he wanted to “help” his brother. Harry said: “Are you serious? Help me? Sorry – is that what you call this? Helping me?”

Soon after, the Duke of Sussex tried to offer his brother a glass of water and that’s when all hell broke loose. He wrote, “He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Prince Harry then alleges that William told him to hit him back, just like they did during their childhood fights, but he didn’t want to. When William left again, his brother writes, he “turned and called back: ‘You don’t need to tell Meg about this.’”

Harry then said, “‘You mean that you attacked me?’” to which William replied, “‘I didn’t attack you, Harold.’”
