The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott’s Next Move Explained

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that for someone like Billy Abbott, it seems like he’s always dealing with one crisis after another – and for those who believe it and see it, they are not wrong. It seems like both his personal life and his professional life have been quite messy, which is why he’s been forced to take a step back in certain areas. Here’s a little lowdown of what’s been going on with Billy and what his next move will be.

Back in December, actor Jason Thompson admitted that the current crisis with ChancComm is impacting Billy’s relationship with Lily Winter (Christel Khalil). That’s because she’s the one who called Jill Abbott in crisis mode, knowing that something had to be done before they would lose the company forever. But at the same time, Jason says that he understands why Lily called Jill behind his back.

Jason put it this way, “He also knows that Lily is on his side, which is a beautiful thing, so they are really learning how to support each other because there’s a lot of honesty there. We sometimes forget LIly’s story. She has been through a lot in the last handful of years with going to jail, her divorce and the things that Cane had done, so she’s been through a lot of trauma and has come out the other side.”

And now it seems like Billy really wants Lily to give him a second chance. Even though Billy and Lily have decided that it would be best if they could give each other space, he tries to figure out what his next move will be. Jason explains, “At some point, Billy and Lily stopped working as a couple. We didn’t see them functioning anymore. More and more, they were just slipping out of touch with each other until they came apart.”
