The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Wants Lily To Give Him A Second Chance

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Genoa City, it’s that there’s no such thing as a permanent break up – especially when it comes to the Abbott and the Newman families. With that said, it looks like Billy is begging Lily to give him a second chance in the hopes that they can make their relationship work. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera digest, now that Billy and Lily have decided that it would be best if they could give each other space, he tries to figure out what his next move will be. Actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to the publication, “At some point, Billy and Lily stopped working as a couple. We didn’t see them functioning anymore. More and more, they were just slipping out of touch with each other until they came apart.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that after a little chat with Chelsea, Billy decides that he wants to save their relationship and arranges to meet her at the Glam Club. Jason continues, “He tells her that he doesn’t want to lose her, which is surprising to Lily because of how he was ignoring all the problems they’ve been having. He wants them to reconnect again on a deep, emotional level and get back to what they once had. To do that, Billy says he will gladly go to couples counseling as soon as possible but says that it takes two.”

With that said, Billy then tells Lily that he is sorry for letting her down and says that he wants to make things right between them. Jason says, “They’ve come this far and he doesn’t think they should give up on each other. He’s thrilled when Lily agrees that they owe it to themselves to keep trying. He’s greatly relieved, but will Billy be up for the hard work ahead?”
