Days of Our Lives spoilers say that she sure is going to be missed. While everyone was certainly shocked over the news when they heard that Tamara Braun was leaving Salem, the actress is now setting the record straight about her departure. Here’s what she has to say.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tamara Braun Opens Up About Her Exit From Salem

According to Soap Opera Digest, Tamara, who is best known for her role as Ava Vitali, made it no secret that she was certainly upset and disappointed when she heard the news that she would be written off. At first, she didn’t tell any of her co-workers. Tamara put it this way, “Many didn’t know until my last day. People were disappointed. It’s never fun to say good-bye to people you enjoy working with. I hate it when people I liked were written off, even if I suspected they’d be back.”

With that said, Tamara also opened up about the moment that she found out that her time at Days of Our Lives would be numbered. She said, “I found out when I read a script that had Ava doing something quite uncharacteristic for her so I called to find out what was going on. I spoke to the producers and it was discussed that the character would leave the canvas for now but the door would be open with the potential to return at a later date.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Tamara?

While no one knows when Ava will come back, Tamara said that she already misses working on the set of the show. She said, “I have already been gone almost five months, so what I already miss about it is the camaraderie. I really do love the Days set a lot. The people are kind and care for one another. We support one another, want to see each other thrive. That’s rare and so lovely. So, I already miss my pals, having a steady job, having that routine, being able to play. Ultimately, everything is about human connection for me. So, I miss my people! My co-stars, hair and makeup, directors, all crew really.”
