British Royal News: What’s Next For Princess Eugenie?

Some would say that Princess Eugenie is one of the supporting characters in the never ending soap opera that is the British Royal Family while others would say that she is perhaps the most likable royal out there. Either way, she’s had quite the year. Here’s a little review of everything that happened for Eugenie in 2022.

British Royal News: What’s Next For Princess Eugenie?

In July, it was reported that Eugenie made a move to Portugal. There was speculation that she moved to Portugal because she’s over all the royal drama, including the scandals and controversies surrounding her father, Prince Andrew. “They’re done with all the dramas going on in Buckingham Palace right now,” says an insider. “Eugenie wants to focus on August and – hopefully – having another baby. With all the stresses of lawsuits and the gloom that’s come over the family as the Queen’s health continues to waver, she wants to focus on her new family – and moving to Portugal is the right thing for them.”

In June, it was reported that the York sisters would be made into full-time working royals seeing how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left a void ever since they cut ties with the palace to begin their new lives in California. That, and Prince William and Kate Middleton sure do need the help in their royal workload. The fact that they have remained rather quiet about their father Prince Andrew’s sex scandal is sort of helping them, too. One source close to the situation said, “Beatrice and Eugenie, who are currently classified as private citizens, could be in line for a promotion, and become part-time, unofficial working royals. Unlike their mother, Sarah Ferguson, who has been outspoken in her defense of Prince Andrew, the York princesses have not publicly stood up for their father.”

British Royal News: Eugenie Has Had Quite The Year

In February, Eugenie packed her bags and along with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August, headed to California to spend some time with Prince Harry and his family.

Princess Eugenie was first spotted enjoying the Super Bowl with Harry at the SoFi stadium. Royal fans were delighted to see Harry and Eugenie together as this further proves that their relationship is as solid as ever. If that weren’t enough, Eugenie and her husband Jack were also spotted having an animated dinner at a Santa Barbara hotspot with Harry and Meghan. The two couples seemed to be enjoying one another’s company so much so that photos obtained by TMZ have them laughing the entire time!
