According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Heather dangles the promise of getting information about Esme out of Ryan to the PCPD in order to delay her return to D’Archam. Over at General Hospital, she once again crosses paths with Dante. Actress Alley Mills, who plays Heather on the hit ABC soap, says that she tells him that she might be able to help track down Esme. After all, she is the chief suspect when it comes to The Hook killings.

General Hospital spoilers say that at this point it’s pretty obvious that Heather has absolutely no intention of leading the cops in Esme’s direction, but Dante doesn’t know that. Alley Mills tells the publication in an interview, “I think that at this point the audience can tell that Heather genuinely loves Esme. But Heather is very smart and all she really wants to do is stay at Spring Ridge. She doesn’t want to go back to D’Archam, which she is supposed to do right after this appointment she has at General Hospital with Portia. Heather knows that if she is at Spring Ridge, she at least has a shot of finding Esme and doing whatever it is she is going to do with Ryan, whereas if she’s at D’Archam, she’s screwed. She will lose contact with him. So Heather is just working on her feet really fast the minute she sees Dante, offering up the possibility that they can use her to get information.”
