General Hospital spoilers say that while Britt’s family and friends have gathered to help celebrate her birthday party on New Year’s Eve, little do they know that she’s about to slip out from Port Charles after the party. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Kelly Thiebaud, who plays Britt on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “I think she’s coming to terms with her decision. She doesn’t want people to see what Huntington’s will do to her. She doesn’t want to be remembered that way. She’s really clear about that. At the party, she wants to forget about the disease; she wants to be able to have fun in the moment with the people in her life that she’s grown really close to and support her. And I think that happens: she’s present, she’s taking it all in, she’s happy and having the best time.”
General Hospital spoilers say that Austin, who knows all about Britt’s plan, holds out on the hope that she might change her mind at the very last minute. He also reminds her that there are so many people in Port Charles who absolutely love her. Kelly says, “When she’s surrounded by all that love at the party, she does start to question things. She knows that there is so much love in her life. She also doesn’t know why she should be leaving.”
Either way, it will be interesting to see if Britt ultimately decides to stay or if she does. It’s a decision that is going to weigh on her big time, too. That said, fans will have to tune in to General Hospital each and every day to find out what’s in store for the future.
