Eric shared a video of himself exercising from his bedside. He captioned it with, “Going crazy after five days of doing nothing. Recovering from a knee replacement.”

Many of his Twitter fans commented on his post with, “I work in Ortho w/joint replacement patients. 6 wks out is important for knee. If you’re range of motion isn’t where it should be, you’ll get a knee manipulation under anesthesia to force it. Ouch. Watch the swelling though. That can become your enemy,” along with, “It’s rough Eric and you are still trying to stay in shape. But just remember that this will get better and you will feel much better after you are healed. Take the blessing we get.”

Another follower said, “Continue to do well Eric. My first knee surgery went well. The second knee not so well. I have had a total 3 surgeries on the second knee and it still not working so I’m so proud of you and happy that you are doing well and you continue to do well. You have my prayers.”

Earlier in the month, Eric, who is best known for his role as Victor Braeden on the hit CBS soap, shared a photo from his hospital bed and captioned it with, “After knee replacement! Thinking of you all.” And of course, he had his fist pumped into the air as well, because why wouldn’t he?

With that said, it’s been noted that Eric won’t be missing out on any episodes of The Young and the Restless and that’s because the cast and crew are currently on holiday break. Here’s hoping that Eric does have a speedy recovery and that fans will get to see him back in Genoa City by the new year. Fingers crossed.
