Yikes. It looks like this scandal is going nowhere. British Royal News says that Rev. Al Sharpton certainly had strong words to share as he slammed Jeremy Clarkson over his “racist” column about Meghan Markle. Here’s what you need to know.

It looks like things are heading to the next level as US civil rights pioneer Rev Al Sharpton slams Jeremy Clarkson’s “racist” Meghan Markle column as Herbet Donald, former judge, urges Met Police to investigate along with Black politicians, equalities groups and campaigners.

“The National Action Network and I join with the many others who have condemned the appalling remarks by Mr Jeremy Clarkson published this week in The Sun against, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle,” Rev Sharpton said in a statement released to The Independent.

“We condemn these racist and dehumanizing actions in the strongest possible terms. They represent the vilest of the evil angels of our society and must find no refuge in the media. We join the calls for all people of goodwill in the US and abroad to stand united in this condemnation and demand for accountability.”

The Royals Are Keeping Quiet Too

In his column, which has since been taken down by The Sun, the British television personality wrote, “We all know in our heart of hearts that Harold Markle is a slightly dim but fun-loving chin who flew Apache helicopter gunships in Afghanistan and cavorted around Las Vegas hotel rooms with naked hookers. But then along came Meghan, who obviously used some vivid bedroom promises to turn him into a warrior of woke. At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her. Everyone who’s my age thinks the same way.”

If that weren’t enough, the royal family is also feeling the heat. That’s because media outlets from all over the world are condemning the silence of the British Royal Family on Jeremy Clarkson. Many critics say that it is inadmissible as a well as shameful that nothing is being said at this point. 

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter on her end.
