Days of Our Lives spoilers say that there’s no doubt that many fans are sure missing Eli and Lani in this fictional town of Salem. Luckily actor Lamon Archey, who is best known for his role as Eli Grant on the hit Peacock soap, recently opened up about the possibility of seeing everyone’s favorite couple back on the canvas together. Here’s what he has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Lamon opened up about Eli’s brief return home. While in Salem, Eli will give an update on how his wife Lani is doing. She’s currently behind bars for killing her biological father.

Eli says, “Everyone wants to know how Lani is holding up in prison,” recounts Archey. “I believe Eli says she’s doing the best she can under the circumstances. She’s pulling through, but definitely misses being with her family, especially during the holidays.”

Now, whether or not Eli and Lani come back full-time remains to be seen but if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Salem, it’s that you can never say never, right? Lamon hinted that he would be open to coming back.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For The Couple?

He explained, “I talked to Albert [Alarr, co-executive producer] before I left,” he confides. “He had asked me if I wanted to come back and do some more episodes. I said we can definitely talk and figure it out. Recently, they did reach out to me and asked if I’d stop by again and help out with some stories they have going on. So, of course, I’m down to pop in and lend a helping hand.”

Watch this space as we have a feeling that these two might be back sooner rather than later. At least, that’s what our hope is!
