Krista Allen, who plays Taylor Hayes on the hit CBS soap, recently opened up about where her character along with Brooke Logan both are in their love triangle with the formidable Ridge Forrester. Simply put, both Brooke and Taylor have decided that they can live their lives without having to worry if the all important Ridge Forrester is going to pick either one of them as his forever wife. But hey, if there’s anything that we’ve learned about Ridge, it’s that no wife is forever. Plus, the two women were tired of being in the middle of a love triangle that just didn’t seem to have happy ending for either one of them.

Speaking to Soaps.com, Krista said that the world is now a different place seeing how both Taylor and Brooke have realized that they don’t need Ridge in their lives anymore. She said, “It feels as if the old way of thinking, wherein the ‘other woman’ is the problem, is starting to shift. After all, in order for either of us to be with Ridge, he has to be the one allowing it and coming to us.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For These Ladies?

Krista then added, “Brooke and Taylor each have their supporters. But the one thing both sides agree on is that these women should not be giving Ridge the option to choose! Why give him all the power? Ridge was kissing Taylor knowing full well just how much she loves him. This was all about stroking his ego, and she was sort of an easy target!”

Now, as far as whether or not Taylor will be giving Ridge a second chance, Krista said, “Taylor’s literally done, but Brooke still has a bit of hope. Brooke is sort of thinking, ‘I need to be sure.’ But Taylor’s like, ‘Good luck girl. You can have him. Do your thing!’”
