Tamara announced the news herself by taking to her Instagram account to write, “Hey all you Days fans!! If you want to see Ava off, tune into DOOL today for her last day in Salem. Thought I’d share some of my memories from the last (almost) two years. Starts at the end and ends at the start with my first nasal swab. Oh Covid!! Thanks for all the love and support you continue to show me. I will miss you all!! Wait, I’ll still be here, you can find me on IG!!”

Back in 2020, the actress, who previously also worked on General Hospital, said that her first day back on the set of DOOL as Ava was certainly a whirlwind. She told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “With the new Covid-19 protocols and everything and having to deal with wardrobe and hair and makeup, we didn’t have enough time before being called to set to run lines. The way we run lines now at DAYS is, we use an app to do video calls – if it works! Sometimes, especially in the first month, it was sketchy with the WiFi down there, getting it connected and all that. But when we can’t do that, we just call each other on our dressing room phones and run lines.”

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Next For Tamara?

Now, as far as what’s next for the actress remains to be seen but we sure do hope that she stays in the daytime television community. There’s always a possibility that she might go back to her Port Charles roots. Watch this space.
